Complex Needs Holiday Schemes is a charity for young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities and autism. It opened in 2007 and operates from the Phoenix Special School in Bow, East London. It is situated in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. A maximum of 10 children from five to eight years of age may attend the scheme at any one time. There are 14 children on roll. The setting is open for four weeks in the summer holidays, eight days at Easter and five days in the February and October half terms. Children use the facilities and resources of The Phoenix School and have access for play and relaxation, to designated areas within the landscaped outside space. Staff have expertise in a wide range of special needs.
